Hex MF Locknuts

Hex MF locknuts are used on utility poles to provide tight connections between bolts and nuts to prevent loosening over time.  The hex MF locknut can be used as a locking nut on the back of square or hex nut. These concave hex MF locknuts are designed to spin freely by hand.

When tightened down over an existing nut, the arch is flattened causing a permanent set.  Hot dipped galvanized hex MF locknuts are tapped oversize to fit easily with the mating bolts.  Available in 1/2 through 1-1/4 diameter.
